I see a voice flyerAcoustics Study Day: 'I see a voice' & Van Lawrence Award

Sunday 20th May, 2012 10.00am – 5.00pm

Baden Powell House, Conference Centre, 65-67 Queens Gate, London SW7 5JS

The day will focus on practical applications of acoustics. The acoustics of the vocal tract will be outlined, including investigation of vowel production for speakers and singers. The way in which the ear processes incoming voice signals will be explored with some surprising anomalies.

The afternoon will feature the Van Lawrence award finalist presentations, and will end with a practical workshop demonstration of the use of acoustic analysis software in the teaching studio.
