More Care for Your Voice
Voice Care Network UK.

Review by: Rosemarie Morgan-Watson
To those of you familiar with Care For Your Voice, this is the revised and expanded edition now including 'More' in every sense of the word.
The Voice Care Network UK has focused on providing voice training and information for teachers and there is an explanation of its work as part of this book. But this publication should not be reserved for teachers alone.
Clearly laid out, with notes to guide the reader on how best to work through the information, it is divided into two main sections: Using the Voice and Vocal Health and Maintenance. All the basic tips are included and there is a good range of practical ideas. Exercises are printed in a contrasting text colour and are simply explained, and lively cartoons add to its visually appealing format. A book list and contact addresses of other organisations have been thoughtfully added, to provide the reader for opportunities to develop their knowledge further. And I am sure many will be encouraged to continue their vocal journey.
A thoroughly user-friendly book and economically priced, it will benefit many people who need to use their voices expressively and healthily. I guess that covers just about everyone!
